We spent Mother's Day with my mom this Sunday. It is so nice to be able to share in the joy of being a mother with her. My mom is amazing. I swear that she has more energy than both Piper and I combined sometimes. While she had been feeling under the weather for a couple days, she is back to her 'ol self. We all watched as Piper took several steps on her own, played in the grass for the first time (and it was a bit too itchy for her), and watched Daddy build block houses and while Piper tried to knock them down. I sure love being a mom. I am very grateful that I have such a wonderful mother to learn from.
